Manager Business Performance Management

The Controlling unit in Customer Service is looking for a senior business controller as Manager Business Performance Management with placement in Umeå. You will be placed in and lead the Business Performance Management team, reporting to Director of Controlling. Business Performance team will consist of up to 4-5 people (business controllers and business analysts).

Main purpose of the position

The Business Performance unit reports business reviews, business plans, KPI structures, forecasting & monitoring and financial reporting. The Manager Business Performance owns the governance model (styrmodell) and challenges organisation through proposed focus areas, recommendations and actions. Engaged in Customer Service units and clients business reviews and target setting. The Manager Business Performance should have the business controlling, financial expertise and be able to participate in business negotiations with clients and other key contracts. You also have to ensure that the business and financial reporting works well. You should support and challenge discussions and the decision making in the group. Key player in driving change to profit center. The role shall also act as the main controlling business partner internally within Customer Services Nordic.

Key responsibilities

• Customer Service Business controlling and main interface to financial controlling

• Executing controlling tasks

• Develop and deliver Business Plan and target settings for the business

• Deliver monthly and bi-weekly reporting and forecasts to the Director of Controlling and Customer Services.

• Front end database management, business and financial reporting

• Perform basic statistical analysis

• Delivering ad hoc analysis, combining financial and business information to improve performance

• Customer Service units and clients business reviews and target setting.

• Analyse and administer both business and financial tasks

• Develop Governance model (Styrmodell)

• Partially responsible for Vattenfall Kundservice AB administration.

• Have responsibility for yearly and monthly Closing as provided by financial control

• Support Customer Service strategic development and the Vendor Management process

• Ad hoc tasks

Experience and competencies

You hold a University degree in Business Administration and at least 5-7 years of relevant work life experience.

Knowledge of SAP, MARS and other reporting systems is required. You easily connect with people and really believe that great results are achieved in collaboration with others. Your leadership skills can best be described as Clear, Visible and Courageous. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Experience from Customer Service is a benefit as well as experience from the energy market.
