Build Engineer i Stockholm

Paradox is looking for a dedicated and passionate Build Engineer to join our tech team in Stockholm. Read on to learn how you can be part of a fun and talented team!

As a Build Engineer you will be critical in ensuring that our development teams can work efficiently with quick access to feedback and information. You will also help bring our in-house titles to hundreds of thousands of gamers in a fun and engaging work environment that is always looking to build and improve.

Responsibilities

• Administration and deployment of source control and continuous integration servers.
• Management of services and processes for deployment of internal builds and public game releases.
• Development of systems that provide timely feedback and analytics to developers and service users.
• Document processes and provide user guides for developers and other service users.
• Investigate and promote use of new technologies and better testing procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Experience of Linux / macOS server administration.
• Experience managing continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity or Bamboo.
• Experience managing version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Service minded approach with a passion for providing and improving critical development services.

Experience in the following will be considered a plus

• Familiarity with Paradox Development Studio games.
• Experience with Bash scripting, Python and/or C++.
• Experience of working with and maintaining build system generator systems such as CMake / SCons.
• Experience of working with configuration management systems such as Puppet or Chef.
• Experience building and configuring networks.
• Experience working with monitoring & dashboard, such as Grafana.
• Experience of server installation/maintenance.
