We are looking for a
Portfolio Accountant focusing on portfolio administration, reconciliation, accounting,
reporting and project initiatives relating to the financial assets we manage
for our customers. You will be a bridge to the Investment function, Middle
Office and to Nordea Asset Management, as well as working closely with the IT department
in relation to the IT systems harbouring the assets.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the Accounting team within the Finance function in
Nordea Life and Pension Sweden to help us perform our daily responsibilities
within portfolio administration and accounting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Back-Office function for fund- portfolio- and custody
administration
- Trade reconciliations and liquidity planning
- Process responsibilities in accounting, closing of
books, reconciliation and reporting
- Drive project and process improvements
- Setting systems and IT requirements to improve
functionality, processes and meet project deliverables
- Ad-hoc analysis

Your profile and background:
- University degree in accounting
- + 3 years of relevant professional
experience in portfolio administration, accounting, reconciliations and
reporting from Bank, Finance, Insurance
- Analytical and curious mind
set,
- Proactive and solution-oriented
with a genuine interest in getting it right and the drive to understand
and improve
- Experienced user of Excel,
SQL, building, maintaining and extracting data from databases
- The ability to read, write
and speak fluently in Swedish and English
As
this is a system driven, transaction intense area it is important that you have
a technical interest and experience in working with databases to be able to
effectively perform your duties.
