Technical Solution Owner for IGBTs i Ludvika

IGBTs are the heart of our HVDC and SVC Light valve products. Would you like to join us in offering top notch IGBTs for these products to our customers? As a Technical Solution Owner of IGBTs, you will be responsible to do just that. You will achieve this by working very closely with our IGBT supplier. You will ensure that we set proper technical requirements on new IGBT devices that will used in our future or existing valve products and be involved in evaluating the performance & quality of these IGBTs in various type of testing both at the supplier and at our top notch HVDC Test Center testing facility.

You will also be responsible for life cycle management of the IGBTs in our installed base. This will include finding solutions to spare parts related issues for our customers, by working closely with our supplier; ensuring traceability, handling field returns and developing processes & methods for measuring life length of the IGBTs.

You hold a Bachelor of Science or preferably a Master of Science Degree with numerous years of experience working with Power Electronics in some form or a Ph.D student majoring in Power Electronics. As you will be part of a company that operates on the global arena, you must be proficient in English. Preferably you are also fluent in Swedish. It will be part of your job to communicate with other departments, team members, projects leaders, suppliers and customers.
