You will be part of our Center of Expertise for taxes. The Center of Expertise is dedicated to drive the Group Tax strategy and manage tax risks for ABB. Country Staff Taxes, a function within the Center of Expertise for taxes, works with Swedish and international tax matters for the Swedish business units. Country Staff Taxes ensures a correct management of all existing tax matters and risks according to ABB’s tax policy, directives and instructions within ABB Sweden.

You will work with colleagues specialized in Swedish and international corporate taxation, VAT and transfer pricing. A part of your job will involve ABB’s site projects abroad, where you will assist the business units with tax investigations. Another part of your job will be to assist the Swedish business with counseling, education and the further development of our processes. Your focus will be on international VAT matters.

In order to ensure the quality of the VAT and indirect tax reporting, it is important that you collaborate with other functions, and with your global colleagues. You will also support during acquisitions and divestments, all in a dynamic and global environment full of exciting development opportunities.

We would like you to have a degree in law or similar. As a person you are social and enjoy interacting with others. If you also have at least three to five years’ experience from tax counseling with specialization in VAT within global conditions, you have every chance to succeed in this position. Thus, your current job may be tax counselor or tax consultant at an accounting or law firm. If you are used to holding courses and seminars as well as have experience from a global organization, it is highly beneficial.
