Business Analyst, Group Functions Information Reporting (GFIR), Stockholm

The main purpose of this role is to act as a Business Analyst ensuring the high value changes are implemented on time and in accordance with our internal customers’ requests. You will be part of a dedicated unit working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Your future responsibilities
In the GFIR unit at Nordea we have the mission to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, one organization and platform. We are the owners of a number of reporting applications within Nordea. You will work together with our stakeholders, the regulatory framework owners, as well as with our IT department. 
 
What will you be doing:
  • Take ownership for reporting application matters in projects and for improvements 
  • Sign-off of functional designs and data quality tests ensuring correct implementation of business requirements, ensure alignment to business architecture and work in accordance with agile development models. 
  • Provide end user support to customers in Group Functions and Business Areas 
  • Team up and communicate with stakeholders across Nordea when implementing changes, assisting training and end user documentation. 
 
You will be part of the Business Development team within GFIR, a highly skilled team where you will work in a positive and developing environment that provides room for professional growth.  The role is based in Stockholm

Your profile and background:
 
We believe that you are known for your interpersonal skills, your respect for cultural differences where you can contribute in cultivate the best performance of a team.
  • You understand how to drive change initiatives within an organisation, with a holistic approach and attention to details.
  • You are a good communicator with problem solving skills, and you are structured and result-oriented. 
  • Academic degree in finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering 
  • Experience from working with data analysis, and relevant tools like SQL and SAS 
  • Experience of driving different initiatives with international colleagues within the banking 
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written and preferably experience of working with distributed teams 
  • Understanding of capital, regulatory or credit risk reporting requirements (as BASEL, FINREP, COREP, FATCA, CRS or AnaCredit) are an advantage
