UX/UI Designer i Malmö

The Paradox Malmö studio was started over a year ago with the goal of bringing Paradox games to mobile. This is still our mission, and we are really excited about what we have been cooking up. This is where you come in! The team is currently 7 people strong, but needs reinforcement on the UI/UX side of things. Small team, big impact!

As the only UI/UX artist in the team, you will be a key component in making sure our players can navigate through our games’ complex user interfaces. There are lots of buttons to push so your job will be to take it from the initial UX design phase right into creating the assets and help setting up the intended functionality in unity.

Responsibilities:

• Breaking down and designing the UX for our mobile games
• Visual development of UI mockups to help establish UI style
• Create the UI and setup functionality in unity
• Work with the team to set priorities, deadlines, and targets; conduct retrospectives, and flag issues.
• Communication; working across disciplines to share knowledge via documentation and training.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience from designing UX, UI and user flows for games or software projects

• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Unity

• Fluent in English; both written and spoken
• Portfolio that demonstrates your skills as UI/UX designer

A Bonus:

• Experience working with mobile games

On a personal level you are interested in understanding the behavior of players and the choices they make while playing your game. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are used to taking responsibility for time and delivery as well as striving for improvements not only in your own field, but for the whole product/team. You have good ability to communicate, you are a self starter and a get-shit-done type of person.
