Quality Escalation Engineer- (POL) i Sodertalje

Our colleague Markus is taking up a new position in our organization and therefore are we looking for his successor in the Quality Escalation Team (Formerly POL).

You will be working as Supplier Quality Engineer within Purchasing department, with emphasis on Powertrain segment. Act upon handovers based on supplier deviations according to the POL process.

Purpose with the work from Supplier quality escalation SQA is to establish a secured normal situation at the supplier connected to the specific case and hand back a robust result to the issuer.

Internal and external dialogue, with our Suppliers, Production, R&D and Purchase is of importance.

And in your role you will be representing SQ organisation as part of Scania Purchasing.

In this role you sometimes have to think out of the box in order to support the supplier. We are aiming for a long lasting solution and a closed case. Quickly! It happens that you sometimes have to travel directly to the supplier the same day as an assignment is created so you need to be flexible and ready to travel very often.

This role is like a project and you will be the “project manager”. You need to push and guide all parties in the right direction to find a trustworthy and robust solution. Always with our core values Customer First and Elimination of waste in mind

Experiences & Qualifications

• Academic degree: B.Sc/ M.Sc or higher, and some work life experience
• Or relevant work life experience within Scania and/or quality assurance
• English language is a must in both written and speech.

Experience from production, quality and production engineering could be positive in this position.
