Governance & Framework (G&F) within Group Credit is responsible for the development and maintenance of an adequate and well-functioning credit governance structure including steering documents on Group level as well as on business area and entity level. G&F also gives guidance and support to the business units and others in Swedbank Group on credit issues generally and especially how to interpret and put the credit framework into practice.

One of our main challenges is to maintain a simple, accessible and user-friendly internal credit framework even though increased complexity and intensified flow of external demands are put on the banking operations.

As a member of the G&F team you will develop and maintain the Swedbank Credit framework and its implementation in Swedish entities or borrower segments, primarily consumers and SSE/SME. You will put EU and national regulation into practice in the Swedbank credit framework; develop the credit framework in accordance with the Swedbank Wanted position, strategy and values. You will draft new and update credit framework documents. You will give guidance and support by explaining and elaborating on the credit framework, the underlying credit governance principles and other rationales for its content. You will participate in projects implementing and developing the credit framework into automatized and digitalised processes. You will support the business areas in their implementation of new and updated credit framework. Your deliverables will be final versions of credit steering documents but also presentations, explanations, proposed solutions etc.

You are motivated, a team player with the ability to proactively and independently process a matter to its solution. To be successful in this job you need a strong integrity and the ability to explain complicated matters in a way that is easy to understand.

The role presupposes;

• Good understanding of the credit process and credit governance principles for credits to consumers and SSE/SME
• Several years of experience from consumer credits as well as credit business with SSE/SME
• Creativity and experience from work in projects, development and implementation
• Ability to see the overall picture and at the same time capture the details
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Ability to draft framework texts in Swedish and English

Group Credit is an independent unit developing and maintaining appropriate credit governance as well as promoting risk culture and prudent banking, in the credit area. In the G&F team within Group Credit you will work together with colleagues in Swedbank's four home market countries in different parts of Swedbank Group and face a variety of questions within the credit risk governance area.
