Data Analyst - AML i Sundbyberg

As a Data Analyst you will play a key role in reaching our vision of ensuring that Swedbank has an updated and functioning AML monitoring solution that meets regulatory requirements and support Group Security Investigation to be efficient in their work to detect suspicious money-laundering and terrorist financing cases.

As a Data Analyst your responsibility will be to deliver advanced data analytics to leverage of the big amount of data by performing data discovery, modelling and using a variety of modern algorithms including for example random forests and deep learning methods. You are passionate in delivering value for the business by providing results that can be used for development and optimization of new and existing AML detection methods and development of functionality in order to support AML investigators in decision making and reduce manual work.

You will be part of a new cross functional team that will consist of Data Analysts, Risk translators, Software Engineers and Agile Product Owner/Team Manager. We work with the Swedbank common Data Lake, Data Discovery Platform and programming languages as Python, R and Scala used for analytics and modelling. We also use an 3rd party AML solution for which we are responsible for development and optimization of AML monitoring scenarios.

You are a solution-orientated Data Analyst with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You are flexible and responsive and quality and service-minded. You aim to do things purposefully and structurally. You are used to work with a customer-centric mind-set and you know how to suggest and implement the outcome from advanced data analytics that leads to business value. You are a strong team-player.

You have a university degree in mathematics, physics or computer science. You have practical experience working as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist with advanced analytics. Previous experience from working in the financial industry is not necessary.
