User Experience Designer/Engineer i Stockholm

As a UX designer/engineer at Unomaly you will be responsible for the experience of our users' entire product journey - from her first touch with downloading our solution to the experience of investigating single anomalies in data while being under the stress of an outage. The user experience of doing this is just as important as the machine learning algorithms we developed to automate the analysis and surface the data.

As a UX designer, you will collaborate closely with algorithm engineers, designers, frontend engineers, technical writer and product management throughout the design process. You will be crafting user personas, flows and wireframes, build user interface mockups and prototypes and performing user studies. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product delights them. Here you will work in collaborative teams, with a strong emphasis on iterative work that balances our bleeding edge developments with continuous delivery.

• Develop UX artifacts such user flows, personas and high-level wireframes that helps the user interact with billions of lines of data, algorithms, and systems of the data center.
• Lead user study research planning and execution so that we fully understand our offerings, customers, and users.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse engineering teams and company departments to deliver an effective user experience across a variety of platforms and to different audiences - from developers to their managers.
• Work with teammates to interpret research findings and distil them into actionable product requirements and suggestions for implementation or change.
• Present usability findings, best practices, and feature designs to team members and stakeholders.
• Advocate for the user and their needs across all areas of the company and be an effective participant in team discussions.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX design, Psychology, HCI, or related field.
• Or equivalent experience.
• Ability to create high-quality UX artifacts such as user stories, user personas, workflows and wireframes for web-based products.
• Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred additional qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UX Engineer for web applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience of conducting user research.
• Knowledge in data science and the practices of building, shipping and running software.
