Business Developer - Digital Energy Services i Göteborg

During the coming year we will be working intensely with developing our commercial offerings and business models in parallel with the continued development of services and features in our cloud platform.

What will you do?

We need to expand our team with a new champion who can lead the way in areas of business development, sales, communication and conceptual service development. Translating customer and industry needs into digital services in our cloud platform is one of our core processes. Your role in this will be to stay close to customers and industry to gain insights that you, together with our development team, will turn into new services or features in our platform. In addition to being an important part in the product and service development, your role will be focused on building our sales and marketing functions. This means that you also will be engaged in the following activities: 

  • Shaping our future business models.
  • Process development e.g. from structured sales to customer retention and development.
  • Manage our customer relations and engagement in both the digital and physical world e.g. customer community development.
  • Sales
  • Engage in our external communication to increase our visibility.
  • Develop collaborations with industry partners.
  • Develop new innovative business models for our clients within our service offerings.

  • You are an ambitious business developer with a passion for new technology and disruptive digital business models. 
  • Curious mindset and ability to quickly learn new concepts and contexts.
  • You got a desire to deeply understand how things really work. Especially our customers business.
  • You have a structured way of working, take ownership in your tasks and got the drive to run projects successfully to implementation.
  • You are used to tackling problems that you haven’t come across before.
  • You got an entrepreneurs perspective and understands that working in a startup means that our success will always come from an extraordinary team effort, where we all to some extent need to engage in activities that are outside our core competencies.

 

Required qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • A relevant academic education.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both in writing and orally.
  • Sales experience.
  • Project management experience

 

Good to have

  • Basic programming skills.
  • Experience from working with business cases and funding.
  • Experience from the energy utility or real estate sector.
  • Experience from the SAAS domain.
  • Product management experience.
  • Grant writing skills.
  • Experience from working in startups or growth companies.
