The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Data & Insights team to support the ever-growing needs of the Data & Insights team to help scale and accelerate our growth into new markets. The team is responsible for the accurate data quality at Acast, and a part of your job will be trouble shooting and validating discrepancies. The team also creates weekly, monthly & quarterly reports that tells Acast at what pace we’re heading, when we’re heading there, and how long it took to get there. You’ll be working with our Ad Sales and Content team providing insights on data, in order for them to sell more ads or sign new shows.

We use Looker as a BI tool at Acast, Netsuite as a CRM/ERP and most of our data is stored in a Azure SQL Data Warehouse/Amazon S3. You have probably worked with Qlik, Tableau, Salesforce or Netsuite in your current or previous job.

Our data team is mostly located in central Stockholm, but with a remote first culture we’re able to bring on people who prefer flexible working.

What you’ll do:

• Identify and resolve data integrity and other reporting issues
• Maintain and understand data hierarchies required to support our reporting initiatives
• Act as the data liaison with technical teams to automate the delivery of the reports
• Be the BI expert at Acast, by owning the development of reports & dashboards
• Review sales data and listening trends to identify and present insights to support initiatives and decision-making
• Expand, own and create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in an accurate, reliable and timely manner
• Create forecasting models to forecast revenue and listens
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on a project basis
• You’ll be crunching a lot of data, so you’re an Excel and SQL ninja and you have probably been in touch with R before
