About the job

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join one of the Cross Functional Teams within the Accounting value stream, which is part of the BIO Group Functions. The value stream is focused on developing and maintaining services in a way that supports our strategy in the Accounting area.

In the position as Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for detailing and anchoring of the backlog items and quality assurance of delivered functionality and also maintenance- and development tasks within the Swedbank AB Accounting area.

In the Business Analyst role you will be responsible for:

  • Participate and/or lead the work of gathering requirements from business stakeholders
  • Together with Agile Product Owner work on breaking down product backlogs into MVP´s and user stories
  • Decide on how to build the solution within architecture frames
  • Express Product Backlog in terms of Jira User stories with acceptance criteria and other required details
  • Support software engineers to ensure a common understanding of requirements
  • Participate in team's scrum ceremonies and lead requirements refinement sessions
  • Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
  • Take part in testing new functionality to determine if a solution has fulfilled the requirements
  • Participate in production support activities
  • Provide consultation to the business users
  • Perform daily/monthly/yearly routines around the systems

What you need to succeed

Preferred experience:

  • Experience as Business/System Analyst, Product Owner, Test Manager or Software Engineer within the Oracle platform
  • Understanding and knowledge of the finance accounting processes
  • Experience from working with Oracle General Ledger/Accounting Hub/FAH.
  • Some experience in software development with programming language(s) such as SQL including ability to read and write the code
  • Comfortable and experienced in writing User Stories and experienced in Agile way of working
  • Experience of working with test processes and a understanding for regression and acceptance tests
  • Strong communications skills and fluent in English
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to details
  • Relevant University degree and/or equivalent competence
