Your responsibilities as Junior BI/Data Engineer
The team Analytics Solutions delivers BI and Analytics Solutions about common and corporate data like Finance data and HR data to the group of Vattenfall. Modern BI Self-Service tools like Microsoft Power BI are in use.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating MS Power BI dashboards
• Create data flows
• Deliver MS SQL Server services (TSQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Tabular)
Your profile as Junior BI/Data Engineer
We are looking for recent graduates holding an academic degree as well as young talents with no more than 3 years of working experience. Your academic degree should not be later than 2016. You are fluent in English and Swedish both oral and written. Furthermore, you are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. Of course you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.
As a person you are a brilliant networker, you know how to involve and align with people around you in order to drive forward. You are a critical thinker, fast learner, always with one ear on the ground to catch up new IT developments. We are looking for a person with excellence performing mindset. You are a driver of new digitalization.
As a Junior BI/Data Engineer you recognize yourself in the following qualifications:
• You hold an academic degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar covering advanced analytics and/or data scientist work
• Great interest in IT dashboards, data flows, data warehousing and applied machine learning
You are curios and seek deep, rational and creative solutions that have a business or commercial impact. Furthermore you enjoy solving complex issues and taking on strategic challenges. You also have strong communication skills with a positive mindset and integrate effectively into teams and productivity in support of team goals.

Vattenfall IT Young Talents Program is the kickstart of your IT-career within Vattenfall. In the program you will have the opportunity to visit different areas and countries within our IT-organization including Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. There are planned weeks for both your own personal development and internal courses from our Vattenfall Management Institute on leadership in Vattenfall.
