You will be part of the global legal team within the Expansion Department in Stockholm. You will be working closely with the different departments within Expansion with the target of improving the legal standard of our lease agreements globally. The work includes both business- and risk assessment on a strategic level, and negotiation support and concluding commercial agreements on an operational level. The focus for the position will be to review lease agreements for our stores before they are finally approved and signed.
You will be working with colleagues from many different markets as well as with external attorneys. The work also includes keeping updated on the development within relevant commercial and legal fields. You will be required to travel to some extent.
Provide commercial, contractual and negotiation expertise to your markets
Review and to some extent draft lease agreements and other related agreements
Draft and improve various legal templates and guidelines
Participate in the continuous improvement and development of the leasing and legal teams globally
Cooperate with other functions within the Expansion Department
In order to be successful in this role you are solution-oriented and target focused, while adapting to business needs. You are used to work in an environment where fast phase, short deadlines and result focus is part of everyday business. You can make decisions and are thorough and focused on details and have a strong sense of integrity and rational thinking.
At least 3 years of relevant experience (retail, leasing or commercial contracts) preferably with an international focus
Fluent in English. Knowledge in other languages is meriting
