NVH Test Engineer for Buses & Coaches at Scania CV AB i Sodertalje

Scania bus department is continuously improving the experience for the passengers, the drivers and the fleet owners. Be part of the team responsible for the properties securing a pleasant and smooth ride for the travelers, keeping the fuel consumption low and making the driver happy by giving them an outstanding drivability.

The group Powertrain Performance for Buses and Coaches is responsible for the properties NVH, Energy Consumption and Driveability as well as NVH testing for legal demands and interior noise.

Your tasks

Will be to handle the testing connected to NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) and you will own the documentation for it. Practical work is needed with close cooperation with the workshop and the mechanics as well as designers and other testing teams. You will be a part of the whole process from testing concepts to doing the final certification of the vehicles. A close cooperation with the property owner is vital to secure a product worthy of the Scania brand.

Your profile

• You have a relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in the area.
• You have 2-5 years of experience with testing, preferably NVH
• You are structured, customer oriented with good communication skills, proactive, take initiative and ownership, and have the drive to keep improving our work.
• You feel comfortable working closely with technical responsible and learning from each other
