Application Specialist i Sundbyberg

We focus on managing and developing the portfolio of applications we provide to branches and contact centers in Swedbank and Savings banks.

In the Application Specialist role you will be responsible for:

• Handle life cycle management and testing
• Solving incidents related to the application
• Proactively reduce the technical gaps
• Participating and following maintenance processes (incident, problem, change, event where applicable)
• Engaged in vendor operational meetings
• Collaboration with the business and product owner
  
  

To succeed in this role, you need to believe that success is something that can only be reached by working closely with others. This means that you have to be willing to learn from others as well as share your own knowledge and experiences.

The role requires:

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both in writing and in speech
• Experience from advanced troubleshooting
• To have an overall understanding of coding, even if programming is not a requirement
• To have a holistic view when it comes to how application interacts on different platforms, with mainframe and databases
• Experience of Swedbank platforms of relevance for the application such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, Unix, Mainframe and/or TDE.
• Experience/understanding of installation and integration of applications on clients and servers
• Experience of working with release deadlines and multiple simultaneously ongoing initiatives
• Ability to communicate with end users of our applications
