Newsvoice.com is a news platform and community that gives you all perspectives, from high-quality sources,. Our groundbreaking technology scans the web for news and analyses the articles, but ultimately it's our readers who help us decide what’s important. It's news reporting, crowdsourced and democratised.

Our vision is that with better news, people will be able to hold companies and people in power accountable. Even change elections.

What we have accomplished

Newsvoice is available in a first version as a website, iOS and Android apps, currently with about 30,000 active readers. We are in the process of building a community of volunteers that contribute content in the form of summaries, links, and stories. We are also the highest rated news app on both stores and plan to keep it that way.

What’s the challenge?

Our main challenge is to keep growing our community and to keep our contributors engaged.

A first milestone is to find enough volunteers to have all top stories on Newsvoice summarised and with links to quality sources. The next step is to create a structure where the community will help with recruitment, marketing, and social media.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for team-mates, passionate about news and social impact, who can help us engage and build our growing online community.

We'd love it if:

• You have solid experience in growing communities, social media and even business development.
• You write and speak English at an excellent level and you can produce great copy.
• You have a good eye for graphic design.
• Bonus points for experience from leading teams and being comfortable in front of a camera.

About the company

Newsvoice is founded by Viktor Lidholt, a former Silicon Valley Google engineer with 15+ years experience in software and product development, leading teams, and business development. He has held guest lectures at MIT, UC Berkeley, and Carnegie Mellon, as well as conferences all over the world. He has been part of successful startup exits in the past.
