Sales Business Development i Stockholm

xNomad is a new tech marketplace which is enables short term retail spaces in under-utilised space. Innovative brands and entrepreneurs will be part of this retail revolution, which bridges the on-line and physical space and this role will scout them from Nordics and those who want to come into Nordics. We are off on a sprint, and are looking for a energetic hustler who wants to help us meet our exciting fast growth plans.

xNomad is bringing something new to the market. In the sales role, you will be actively looking for brands and entrepreneurs who can benefit from space to bring their ideas to life.  We are rapidly growing, and the customer feedback on type of customers and idea neighbourhoods they wish to pop-up are a vital part of our expansion. In the role, you will be both showcasing and sourcing idea brands for the spaces already acquired as well as documenting future needs and returning to the customers as the opportunities come open.  As it is dual acquisition, you will also be working with the landlords who may want shop in shop or to lease their spaces. 

You will build and leverage a network of brands and companies spanning across multiple sectors and geographies, and you will ultimately become a retail expert, able to sell a strategy and vision, rather than just available space.

THE ROLE

Design and lead the roll-out of a comprehensive business development strategy across all our main categories: direct-to-consumer businesses, fashion,  food and beverage, technology and start ups to name a few.

You will partner closely with our founders and advisors. You will originate and manage strategic relationships, ultimately aimed at increasing revenue growth and our customer base;

You will extend your current network of companies and decision makers, and nurture these relationships for their long-term success

You will source, negotiate and execute business deals to match brands with the perfect space for them. You will not just learn about brand, but also about cities, neighbourhoods and where it would be best for them to appear. 

An equal portion of time will be out on the streets, and on-line. 

You should be interested in sourcing brands which make great pop-ups which includes food, fashion, tech. You will be helping them with some quick placements as well as helping to plan out upcoming pop-ups.

At least 5 years in business development, enterprise sales, account management roles, preferably in high-growth startups.

You are passionate about independent brands and sourcing cool Nordic brands and cool brands from abroad to pop up in Nordics.

A people person, you should be able to see possibilities and enable magic

You should know and love Stockholm and Sweden. A deep knowledge of other Nordic cities is a plus.

You’re a problem solver - you like to “figure it out” and you are not scared of testing out the unknown.

You can manage multiple projects and partners at the same time by prioritising effectively.

You can work well with other functions and external partners including event agencies and PR

You are a self starter and have experience in a startup culture - you like to get stuff done and thrive in ambiguity.

Some travel in Nordics is required.

We are currently hiring in a freelance capacity, however, our aim is to set our first employee hires this summer.
