MARKETING INTERN

xNomad is an exciting new tech start-up that is revolutionising the global retail market. We connect brands directly with spaces allowing them to have a retail presence quickly and cost effectively. We are looking to hire an  intern on a 3-6 month basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The marketing intern role covers a range of creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities. As a marketing intern, you will be involved in the development of the marketing, branding and communications strategy and you will provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing these strategies. Through this internship you will gain broad experience in the fields of marketing and communications and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. 

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HELP WITH

· Campaigns – Assist the sales team in the creation of signage, mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content. Create and grow monthly newsletters using Mailchimp

· Social Media - Monitor social channels and respond to feedback, questions, and concerns.

· Provide administrative support to management when required

· Create and maintain tracking reports of digital and traditional marketing efforts

· Seek and analyze competitor marketing material and digital content.

· Manage PPC campaigns using Google Adwords

· Create monthly reports measuring key KPIs for xNomad’s performance in sales and marketing

· Provide administrative support to management  

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying sales, marketing or communications. Or recent graduate.

· Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.

· Experience with marketing and analytics tools. Google Analytics and Google Adwords

· Competent experience of business social media platforms, content creation, basic strategy formulation and execution.

· High attention to detail

THESE WOULD ALSO BE NICE:

· Experience in design and graphic creation (Illustrator & Canva)

· Experience using CRM tools (Hubspot)

· Understanding of a start-up environment. We work hard (really hard) but have fun

There’s always tons more stuff to be done and we want to make sure you get a load of experience as part of your internship with us. What we ask is that you’re hard-working and keen to improve what we’ve done so far.

This is an unpaid internship but we can guarantee you will learn heaps about business

We are currently hiring in an internship capability, however, we will have more full time roles in Fall.
