Paradox Arctic are developing Deep, Appealing and Personal games within the Management genre, and we want to fill these with beautiful art! Do you enjoy creating environments? Is creating buildings, props, foliage and terrain really your thing? Are you organized and think you can keep track of lots of content? Then you might be the 3D Artist we’re looking for!

Paradox Arctic in Umeå is now looking for a talented 3D Artist to join our team of nice and dedicated artists. You will be creating a various range of 3D assets for our upcoming games. A key player in making our games appealing and immersive.

• Create high quality 3D Assets, from idea to fully implementation
• Maintain consistent style under direction of Art Lead and carry out revisions as required
• Communicate effectively and proactively with other team members

• 2+ years of experience working in the games industry
• Strong proficiency in Maya, or equivalent modeling tool
• Good understanding of Photoshop for texture creation
• Proficient in Zbrush or equivalent sculpting tool
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Experience creating assets using the PBR pipeline
• Substance Experience
• Unity experience
• 2D art/sketching skills
• Technical art skills
• Knowledge of scripting
• A passion for management games
• Interest in both historical and fantasy themed art
