Oracle Forms Developer to Production Control IT i Sodertalje

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

 The team belongs to the department of Order to Delivery IT and that means that we are responsible for all IT deliveries that support Scania’s global production planning! We work with proprietary applications in Java and Oracle Forms in close cooperation with the business and we are responsible for all support and development of these applications.

You will belong to a group of experienced employees from who worked closely together. The organization we support have many exciting challenges, which opens up many opportunities for you to develop your skills and broaden your experience with more technologies and take on different roles.

Your mission

You will participate and work closely with our business-related IT development. That includes the following day to day tasks;

• Analysing and designing new and changed needs
• Development, testing and installation of new functionalities
• Incident management and support for end users
• Improvement work, both working methods and flows

You will work closely together with the members of the team to prioritize the business needs and discuss activities on the following and future releases.

Your profile

You have experience with Oracle database, PL / SQL, Oracle Forms / Reports and Linux. Merit if you have knowledge of Scania’s operations and products. Since we work in an international environment, it is important that you master English in both speech and writing.

You like paying attention to details and to work with system development. It is important that you like continuous learning and want to take on new challenges!
