Network Solution Architect i Stockholm

We are looking for a service-oriented Network Solution Architect to join our quest to transform state of the art technology to business value.

As a Solution Architect, you will work with a global design, finding solutions to technical challenges and develop services together with our suppliers. You will be an important part of a team of infrastructure architects. Areas such as Routing, Switching, Wireless, Datacenters, Network security (firewalls and IPS), Reverse Proxy, Internet, WAN, WAN optimization and LAN are all in scope for the network architecture.

Right now, we are seeking a person specifically for an assignment within our Logistics department. You will be part of a project-oriented team building and modernizing infrastructure in our warehouses globally. As a Solution Architect specialized in Network, you will be responsible for the architecture within the service area and drive the development forward.

Your responsibilities

The job of a Solution Architect at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

• Participate in design solutions for new functions and services with our suppliers and vendors
• Review and approve design solutions created by suppliers
• For large projects: travel to the warehouse, work hands-on and conduct pre-studies or lead technicians on-site during critical stages of the implementation
• Set the architectural roadmap for projects and collaborate close with Service Area Architect
• Control that architectural roadmap aligns with service portfolio & demands and that architectural policies and guidelines are followed
• Follow IT architectural policies and standards and Enterprise Architecture
• Documentation of service design package and service description
• Documentation of guidelines, processes and routines for appointed responsibility area
• Participate in H&M architecture board and multilateral architecture boards

• Several years of experience of global IT-environments
• Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM and agile way of working
• Good knowledge in Cisco routing and switching technologies
• Experience of Network implementation, Network Security and Network operation in a multinational company
• Experience of high- and low-level design and skilled in writing various documentation
• Experience of work with distributed teams in different countries and with offshore team
• Fair understanding of Wireless client behavior
• Experience from Warehouse or other large commercial building networks
• Ability to understand business needs and design new services or infrastructure functionality accordingly
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Skills that we consider as a merit:

• IASA Certified Solution Architect or IT Architect
• Experience from project requirement work
• Experience of network delivery and operations from either telecoms or information technology companies
• Communication skills in Swedish
