SAP Group Manager for Center of Excellence at Scania IT i Sodertalje

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Are you our new agile group manager who’s ready to take Scania’s ongoing SAP journey to the next level?

You will belong to Scania IT’s Service Delivery IT department, which works with IT support for various parts of Scania’s aftermarket business, eg. spare parts, warranty, assistance, connected services or workshop support. The systems we work with support Scania’s spare parts process for logistics globally and is one of Scania’s business-critical processes.

We are facing a growing SAP delivery within Scania and are now looking for a group manager who together with a strong delivery team can meet the future. An important part of Scania’s future success is based on IT solutions that help the business work efficiently and therefore we are building a Center of Excellence that will support the SAP initiatives within Scania with the right technical expertise and capacity.

You Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to the people in your team and we think that you are prestige less, energetic and with a strong focus to coach your employees and consultants to reach new heights!

Your duties will include:

• Develop your team and individuals through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
• Improve the technical expertise of your team on e.g. managing tech debt, system performance, security and maintainability
• Lead the team to develop innovative and cost efficient solutions and services which maximize business value
• Work with forecasting, capacity planning and financial follow up.
• Being an active member in the management team
• Develop and lead the SAP journey together with our stakeholders
• General knowledge and experience of SAP and implementation projects globally.

Your profile

You are a natural leader, who has the courage to drive change and take decisions along the journey. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is vital in driving the development of both team and individuals. Having a close dialogue and co-operation with the business is natural to you, as is understanding your team’s deliverables. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
