We are looking for a Head of Risk reporting in Global Business Risk Implementation & Support (BRIS). This is an opportunity for you to lead a team which delivers high quality risk reports to all levels of the organisation.

Your future responsibilities

You’ll join Global Business Risk Implementation and Support (BRIS) where we aim to take risk management in Nordea to the next level by centralising common processes and aligning the way we work with the management of non-financial risks, such as compliance and operational risks in Nordea. 

The Risk reporting team has process and execution ownership for all 1LOD Risk reports and is responsible for this process to be clearly defined fulfilling the Nordea internal guidelines and external regulations. Also, its duty is to ensure continuous development to drive operational efficiency together with many stakeholders. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Lead and develop the team of Risk Reporting Specialists
  • Act as the Process Owner for Risk Reporting
  • Drive the Risk report production and development activities 
  • Business Senior stakeholder management to ensure business value creation 
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders covering the whole value chain from Business to the Board
  • Successfully collaborate with 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence and the regulators

The role is based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Copenhagen.

Your profile and background: 

  • Relevant university degree e.g. law, finance, economics or similar 
  • Relevant experience from Non-Financial risk management, such as operational risk management, compliance or audit function 
  • Good understanding of Risk Reporting
  • Strong proven leadership skills
  • Experience in leading change and projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent skills in English - written and spoken
