We want to take S&OP to the next level and therefore need to strengthen our team with a sharp strategist with the ability to take ideas all the way to implementation.
S&OP is a process framework which aims to create a corporate view of sales opportunities and probable outcome, and by that optimize planning of resources and materials’ sourcing. As such S&OP makes up a strategic tool that is used to navigate in a complex global environment with substantial supply and demand challenges. In order to succeed with our task, it is vital to work close to both market and product development, to mention some of our many interfaces. We are confident that digitalization of the S&OP process will increase the accuracy our deliverables, and we are therefore investing considerable time and effort in taking the process to the next, more digitalized level.
The challenge
As process developer at S&OP you bring a large interest and experience of process improvements on strategic and tactical levels. You recognize and appreciate the importance of active collaboration with our interfaces to maximize the output. You value independent and target-oriented work. You have a holistic view and can identify win-win. Your advanced communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally both locally and globally are pre-requisites to succeed in this role. Previous experience of working within Siemens global network is meritorious.
The role comprises a variety of
tasks and a high degree of independence. Your interfaces are several and you
will work tightly with the S&OP colleagues in Lincoln and Finspång, with
managers and employees within Service locally as well as globally. You actively
contribute to identify and drive change and to further develop S&OP within
IGT.
Who are you?
- Relevant university degree or corresponding knowledge
- Good understanding of the IGT maintenance concept and consequences in demand planning
- Experience from driving and completing development projects
- Analytical skills
- High capability to cooperate, both within the team and outside
- Previous experience from commercial areas is meritorious
