Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.

Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

Scania Real Estate Services AB is a 100% owned subsidiary of Scania and acts as owner and lessor of our commercial facilities worldwide. We are responsible for approximately 350 Scania owned facilities all over our captive network. We also run and produce some 10-15 new facility projects every year to our commercial network. The Company has a workforce of 17 staff, whereof 2 are placed abroad. Our mission is to safeguard Scania value and provide our global retail network with optimal facility solutions allowing them to create customer value in the local market. Our organisation is now searching for a driven and experienced person to work within our global Facility Production team.

Your tasks is to

  • Manage the existing and future Facility Project Portfolio in our regions and its markets.
  • Deliver facility projects according to set processes and standards, needs and with regard to their market, customer and business impact.
  • Lead the project implementation via management and cross functional teams.
  • Evaluate the project portfolio, suggest and drive cooperation initiatives within the team, suppliers and with alliance partners.
  • Continually develop the entire Facility Production set-up

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced manager and natural communicator with passion for leadership. Preferably with a background in the Construction/Real Estate industry or similar. You have a pioneering spirit and passion to lead cross-functional and international teams. We also see it relevant for you to have a degree of higher education in the field of Construction/Real Estate engineering or the equivalent. It is necessary for you to be fluent in English and if you have experiences of working in a global environment or with different cultures we see that as a merit. The job includes several business trips.

As a person you have an ability to solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. In addition you are solution oriented and manage to quickly find solutions to problems that arise. You are structured and a team player that could find win-win solutions in order to work towards a common goal.
