Strategy and Business Development, XXD, is an executive management resource with the objective to support Scania´s CEO, the Scania Executive Board and the Corporate Unit managers in strategic management. The overall responsibilities include facilitating Scania’s long term strategic journey and managing cross functional and strategic projects within Scania and TRATON, ranging from the commercial to the industrial side. The team supports in strategy formulation, execution and communication.

The function is a part of Corporate Management & Venture Business (X). You will in your position report to Head of Strategy and Business Development (XX).

Job description

We are now looking for a Strategic Project Manager that would like to contribute to the success and profitability of Scania. In the position you will work as an internal management consultant with assignments in different parts of the Scania organization to develop and improve its performance. You will lead cross functional resources around a specific challenge and recommend how to improve and execute. You will work in close cooperation with different management teams all over Scania.

You will gain an overall understanding of Scania and how the company is managed at different levels and a broad understanding of Scania´s different units, their challenges and their way of working. You will develop a wide network stretching across the entire company and you will get a good understanding on how to analyse, summarise and communicate different business concepts.

The work is carried out in close cooperation with the Executive Board and different parts of the Scania organisation. You will work closely together with the other strategic project managers at XXD and share experiences with your senior colleagues.
