Logistic Specialist- Regional Distribution Center i Västerås

Domestic Sales Electrification sells and markets products, systems and service for markets such as buildings, infrastructure, renewable energy, transport electrification and industries. The unit connect, protect and automate important business processes – including power and energy distribution – to improve the reliability and efficiency for our customers operations. The unit also develop intelligent installation systems for home and buildings to improve comfort, energy efficiency and safety.

In Sweden we are now starting an interesting journey where we are building up the new Regional Distribution Center (RDC) for the countries in Northern Europe. We are now looking for a Logistics Specialist to our new team.

As RDC Logistics Specialist you will be a vital member of the Logistics team of EL Sales and Marketing Business Line. In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Logistics activities. You will have a key role in building up the new Northern Europe Distribution Center. The location can be Linköping, Norrköping, Nyköping or Västerås.

• Supervising 3PL and forwarders’ daily performance and cost, as well as acting to ensure respect of associated KPIs.
• Collaborating in reviewing and managing 3PL & RDC KPIs and following up with process improvement plans and to identify logistics service providers’ costs productivity improvements.
• Being responsible for issue resolutions with the 3PL including service quality, claims etc.
• Taking part in verifying that all relevant processes for WH management are in place, controlled and documented (inbound, outbound, storage, stock optimization, picking, packing, counting, etc.).
• Controlling the interfaces between RDC and 3PL/Forwarders.
• Taking part in all transportation related plans and processes.
• Ensuring that the 3PL manage the outbound and export documentation properly.
• Developing effective relationships with RDC Team, 3PL, Forwarders and EL Transport and Logistics.

• Degree in business/logistics management or equivalent with min 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Knowledge in logistics operations, such as inventory management, process re-engineering, as well as measurement and analysis of total supply chain costs.
• Good negotiation skills and experience in dealing with forwarders/3rd-Party Logistics providers.
• Strong analytical skills in both operational and financial matters. Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Stress-tolerant, good communication skills, result-oriented.
• Fluent written and spoken skills in Swedish are mandatory. Fluent spoken and written skills in English is beneficial.
