TV4 Play and C More are two of the greatest streaming services on the Swedish market and our websites are of course amongst the most popular platforms to consume our content. We are expanding our in-house development team and are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer with the ambition of bringing the best online video experience there is to our customers.

If we say “Shaka” you say “Player” (not “Khan”).

You know the meaning of abbreviations such as DASH, HLS, DRM, SVOD, AVOD, ABR, CAF, SSAI, DAI - no explanations needed. You throw them about like ordinary words and don’t understand why people look at you like you like you’re speaking some foreign language.

What we are trying to say is that you have the experience and engagement needed to take ownership of our product and bring it into the future.

If you also have the experience of implementing and tracking ads, preferably in a video environment, we’ll be jumping for joy!

We believe you are strong JavaScript developer. Together with the current web team you will be responsible for the HTML5 Player project serving both TV4 Play & C More.

Besides developing a player with rich feature set this role includes responsibility for quality of service, continuous integration workflows, structures and deliveries to the both services.

You’ll enjoy the challenges that comes with working on one of Sweden’s most popular streaming services. With a massive amount of users logging in every night expecting a flawless experience, you will get instant feedback on your work and the possibility to iterate, enhance and optimize the users’ service experiences.

Competition is fierce, the consumer is in control. You are never better than your last served stream, so keeping the user in focus and making every stream count is absolutely essential to win the users trust and interest night after night.

Among our present stacks, techs, tools and patterns you find React, Next, ES6, Redux, TypeScript, Styled components, Node, GraphQL, contentful, most of it hosted on AWS.
