Do you want to help Assortment Office and Production Office develop fun and safe products for our youngest customers? Then becoming an expert in design requirements for all children products might be the challenge you are looking for.

The role will be a part of a team of specialists at the Global Product Compliance Department (GPCD) within Sweden Production Office. GPCD is responsible for setting legal requirements and routines for all products sold by the H&M group, in all countries and channels in line with local legislation. This includes product safety, labelling, chemical- and physical test demands. By supporting several parts of our business with our expertise, we contribute to the overall customer experience.


Main Responsibilities
  • Giving daily support to our assortment office in design questions based on children’s safety requirements
  • Research, set and implement children’s safety standards, routines, methods and guidelines
  • Acting as a helping hand to existing Children Safety Specialists and taking part in projects within the field of expertise
  • Being involved in product enquiries from customers and if necessary, perform children’s safety in-house tests or refer to an external third-party institute, in order to give the customer a reliable answer

We are looking for you who;
  • Have a few years work experience in product safety and legal product compliance knowledge, preferably with children’s products.
  • Hold a university degree within relevant field or similar
  • Have a sincere interest in the specific field
  • Have the ability to foresee the consequences of decisions
  • Are structured, organized and analytical.
  • Enjoy communicating with internal- and external stakeholders and authorities.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to turn complex information into simple and workable guidelines and routines.
  • Are driven with a can-do attitude, able to utilize and adapt your knowledge to the business need
  • Have integrity and an entrepreneurial mind-set, always with the business and customer in mind
