Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

At Order to Delivery IT, we are responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions for Production & Logistics. The work environment is international and we see diversity as a necessary strength to create awesome teams and succeed in our transformation. To this exciting environment, we are now looking for someone who can lead through change and enable our future IT landscape as well as being a role model in making Order to Delivery IT a great place to work.

The overall mission for the group MONA Logistics is to support Production & Logistics with their core systems for material handling and material control. This is crucial for P&L to reach their business objectives both short- and long-term. As we are transforming the current IT landscape there is also a very exciting change journey that lies ahead of the group and you. This will mean intensive collaboration with colleagues in other teams at P&L and Scania IT. It will also be an interesting challenge for you as a leader to guide, help and define this journey together with your teams.

Job content

As the manger for MONA logistics you will lead a group of 16 employees and consultants divided in two development teams that support Scania’s core logistic processes. You will work closely together with your peer manager for the group MONA Production & COM to ensure a great delivery of the full MONA suite. You will also be a part of the P&L IT Platform management team and create pre-requisites for our almost 100 co-workers to succeed.

  • Help the teams to define their transformation roadmap towards a modern IT landscape
  • Collaborate closely to secure efficient delivery of the complete MONA suite.
  • Be an active part of P&L IT Platform management team
  • General management responsibilities such as budgeting and recruitment

Your profile

Working with agile principles comes natural and so does understanding the business context we operate in. Your ability to shift between operational needs and a strategic mind-set will be required to succeed in supporting your teams and to define the roadmap for your area.

You have an IT education and/or equivalent experience which has given you the ability to talk in terms of IT matters and understand the reality of the users and business critical deliveries. It is an advantage if you have experience from implementation of ERP systems or managing the change through such a transformation. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
