Engineering Planner & Control Specialist HVDC Valves i Ludvika

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Every year the Valve department of HVDC execute the converter valve design, procurement and manufacturing of several mega projects to be installed all over the world. This involves a lot of tasks and planning that have to be aligned in order to meet all our commitments.

This is where you as the Engineering Planner & Control Specialist of HVDC Valves comes into the picture. In your role you will update and maintain our time schedules in close collaboration with the project managers and Main Planner of Valves. You will also work closely together with the other planners of HVDC valves such as production and testing, in order to make the whole plan aligned.

In this role you will also be responsible in supporting the follow up on KPIs and Quality aspects of the projects.

• Updating tender and project schedules.
• Creating and maintaining project schedules for all our products.
• OTD measurement for all our projects.
• Resourcing allocation.
• Managing the Valve Scope of the MDL.
• Managing and following up on process and quality KPIs.
• Maintaining the project delivery process and keeping it up to date.
• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• You master several planning tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Skills with Office 365 features like SharePoint is a plus.
• It is also a plus if you have taken Lean six sigma training or similar.
• You are also a person who likes to work with processes and quality.
