The HR Front Office Lead is fully accountable for managing the operation in the respective GBS HR Front Office in the country and takes responsibility for the delivery of high-quality services, to supported business locations and clients and against agreed performance targets across all Service Lines. As part of the regional GBS HR organization, the Front Office Lead contributes to the global / regional and local roadmap and deliverables.

Your responsibilities
  • Contributing to the implementation of the GBS HR strategy and plan, developing and implementing a strategic roadmap in line with GBS HR business strategy.
  • Running GBS HR Front Office operations in the country, delivering services according to signed-off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), agreed KPIs and quality targets.
  • Defining and driving people management strategy of the GBS HR (e.g. workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning) and leading with example.
  • Encouraging open discussion of development needs for the team or individuals.
  • Supporting processes to standardize within GBS HR and between the GBS / HR functions in order to shape shared service at ABB.
  • Implementing lean approaches to deliver efficiencies through standard processes and synergies.
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.
Your background
  • Leadership role in managing teams of 10-25 employees and experience in HR or Shared Services Operations (insourced or outsourced).
  • Experience of Project Management and Lean Sigma / Six Sigma quality and process improvement experience.
  • High degree of client orientation and service mindset.
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical approach to problem solving, high degree of proactive behavior, result-orientation and high degree of structure and keeping deadlines in focus.
  • Good interpersonal skills with high degree of passion and commitment.
  • Effective management of different cultures and ability to build relations across various teams / countries / cultures.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills).
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike, is a required.
