Technical Training Manager, Northern Europe i Västerås

You will be part of Energy Industries Service, a business line within the Industrial Automation division in Västerås.

ABB Industrial Automation division is writing the future of safe and smart operations in energy, process and hybrid industries. For Energy Industries business line (IAEN) an important part of this is to deliver lifecycle services, augmented by software and digital solutions to drive value for our customers. Technical training plays an important role in the service offerings delivered to our customers as well as to our partners. To better provide high value training to our customers in Northern Europe, Energy industries is simplifying and improving the delivery of training services as well as developing new and enhanced training offerings to Energy and Industry customers in the region.

• In this role you will be responsible for the training within Energy Industries for the Northern Europe Region. As a training manager you will:
• lead the daily business where most of our trainings are held in our new and up-to-date facilities in Västerås, but also at other ABB offices or at customers site.
• On a strategical level define the customer value, develop and customize continuously the training offering by working close with Process Control Platform (Product organization).
• Find synergies within the region to have an efficient delivery organization to meet both current and upcoming customer needs.
• The participants are colleagues, partners and end users coming from the energy and industry sector.
• In order to accelerate, establish and position the training offering for a strong connection to energy industries sales organization and offering.
• You will be financially responsible and initially lead a team with five instructors with good opportunities to grow, the position is based in Västerås.

• To succeed we believe you’re good at building sustainable relations and working in international teams.
• Preferable, you understand ABBs control system and previous manager experience.
• If you have experience in marketing via different channels and value-based selling, with focus on services incl training it is meriting.
