IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Then this is the work for you in our Architecture and Portfolio Management group within Product Development IT. We serve Scania’s Product Development process with solutions in areas such as CAD, PDM, embedded development, testing, aftermarket information, collaboration and exchange of information with other automotive brands, etc.We strive to work with four different areas:

• Architectural portfolio, how we see the IT landscape, impact from/on IT budget, application, technology and project views, etc.
  
• Architectural management, both on strategic and operational level
• Architecture knowledge sharing
• Support to new initiatives 

Your profile
You have a true agile mind-set and is looking forward to develop both yourself and our organisation!
You are humble, sociable and easy to work with. We expect you to have a university degree in Computer Science and 10 years of experience within system development complemented with the following competencies:

• You have relevant experience on manufacturing/automotive/PDM domain.
• A sound understanding of designing secure solutions in an agile environment to bring efficiency and productivity improvements towards users.
• Good understanding of multiple architectural design patterns and data integration techniques.
• Experience designing, configuring and optimizing use of cloud services.
• Experience in modelling tools (notations UML, Togaf, etc).
• Ability to articulate ideas and be fluent in demonstrations.
• Verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective solution proposals and review them with stakeholders at multiple levels.

You must be proficient in written and spoken English.

We expect you to be curious, have excellent problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in IT.
