Quality Engineer i Västerås

You will be a part of ABB Measurement & Analytics in Västerås, which is a business line within the Industrial Automation division. We develop and provide a comprehensive range of force and dimension measurement products designed to improve control, productivity and quality in a wide variety of processes and industries. Your responsibilities

• Coordinating customer complaints and ensuring that root-cause analysis is done, and corrective actions are implemented.
• Supporting our organization with hands-on problem solving and investigations.
• Leading continuous improvement activities to further develop the quality department.
• Taking on larger improvement initiatives, such as process improvement and operational excellence projects, also providing excellent career opportunities.
• Contributing to the development of the management system.
• Communicating and collaborating with customer contacts at our local offices around the world.

Your background

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar.
• You have a strong drive, questioning attitude and passion for improvements.
• You are curious, analytical and you can grasp both the big picture as well as pay attention to details.
• You have a high level of self-motivation and the ability to deliver results and make things happen.
• Previous experience of process development and/or experience of problem solving with Lean 6 Sigma is a plus.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish, written and spoken alike, is required as you will be working in a global multicultural environment.
