Do you want to join Finance & Accounting and work as Group Manager within our Corporate Accounting Department?
Finance and Accounting is responsible for making sure that the H&M Group can handle all business initiatives in a legal compliant way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an accounting perspective.
We are responsible for assuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the H&M-group. This is an opportunity to join a global organization and within a function that works for all brands and sales-channels.
The Corporate Accounting Departments main responsibility is to set up and maintain accounting guidelines for the H&M group. We are also a support function for all H&M accounting departments around the world to make sure best practice is applied.
As a Group Manager, you will be a part of the Corporate Accounting Department and responsible for the Stock team. The Stock team consists of 10 Financial Controllers, all specialized within the Stock area.
Your responsibilities
• Together with the team ensure that we have the right accounting routines and principals connected to supply chain and stock valuation of the H&M group.
• Generate and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for our stock accounting.
• Represent Corporate Accounting and set requirements on projects that affects the stock area.
• Align the accounting routines towards the Local organizations and make sure that it is correct and legal compliant.

Your skills

Your personal qualities also include:
• Degree within Business Administration & Economics (or similar)
• Preferably 3-5 years working experience from financial reporting/controlling
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience of staff responsibility, preferably from an international organization
• Proven leaderships skills and experience in achieving results, both through own responsibilities and by leading others
• Deep knowledge in inventory accounting standards and valuation of inventory
• An extensive knowledge about accounting principles, preferably from a retail organization
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
• Strong ability to plan, execute and prioritize
• Strong communicative skills, an ability to understand and improve ways of working
• A genuine interest of working within accounting

The position is full time position based in Marievik, Stockholm Sweden.
