We are looking for a Lead Frontend Platform Developer to build and design frontend solutions that simplifies for our clients to consume Gleechi’s VR technology. You will join the startup team in an accelerating stage as Gleechi recently received a major funding to accelerate growth internationally. You will report directly to our CPO as a part of our product team that keeps full responsibility of Gleechi’s software as a product, with strong links and communication to all other members of our diverse team of ca. 20 people, be it VR developers, ML engineers, or sales and business teams. You will take the technical lead on building up the frontend systems that will enable Gleechi to take the next big step on its path to becoming the standard solution for hand interaction in virtual reality training and robotics.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop intuitive, high quality front end content for customers and partners who want to use virtual reality training solutions from Gleechi.

• Own the Usability Design aspects of the development process of customer and partner facing web content

• Develop Web/UI development standards, create and maintain style guides

• Develop User Interface artifacts and component, screen prototypes, including content management templates, help system, personas, and scenarios

• Work with the developers to develop storyboards, prototypes, and presentations along with an integrated final product

• Work with enhancing SEO, functionality, & accessibility of cloud application

• Work closely with back-end/Devops/Cloud, creating synergies, using best practices CI/CD

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proficiency with HTML and CSS

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js / Angular.js / Node.js, / React.js)Intermediate database skills for relational/non-relational databases.

• Experience with responsive layout and design, preferably with Bootstrap or other standardised framework

• Experience in website usability & content strategy

• Proficiency working with RESTful APIs and JSON data

• Understanding and experience with authentication - OAuth 2/SAML

• Familiarity with website optimisation techniques and SEO

• Strong visual design sense, appreciation and interest

• Clear communication skills (written and oral) and an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams

Beneficiary Skills for this Position:

• Experience of design tools (e.g Adobe/Affinity/Gimp)
