We a looking for a Business Controller to join our Business Control & Analytics team. We are a key business driven function that is responsible for supporting management decisions, strategic business cases, planning, business and financial analytics, improving our systems, driving adoption of new analytical tools.

You will solve challenging problems in a unique environment – blending the start-up culture of Care by Volvo and the mature business of Volvo Cars – with a talented and motivated team.

What you will do
You will work with all active Care by Volvo markets and will be responsible for, providing holistic financial views to facilitate decision making on a wide range of topics in the extensive cross-functional teamwork that forms our modus operandi.

You will be building business cases and plans with limited information at hand. As the business model and product are evolving, an innovative yet structured approach is key.

Your further responsibilities will be developing dashboards providing transparency on Care by Volvo performance and driving efficiency improvements and adoption of new analytics tools in the immediate team and beyond.

You and your skills
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
 

• 4+ years of experience from a relevant position (business consulting, investment banking background, financial analyst, controller) or an engineering role
• 2+ years of experience with direct to consumer business
• Experience and interest in building complex financial models
• Excel skills are necessary whereas SQL, Python, Alteryx, database experience is a plus
• Demonstrated experienced and interest in building something new, not just maintaining existing processes
• Experience and ability to present complicated findings in a clear and concise manner
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other relevant area
• Fluent in English, speaking and writing
