We are looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with strong web and marketing analysis skills and strategic thinking to join our Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Insights Analyst working with our product Care by Volvo.
What you’ll do
In this role as a Digital Marketing Insights Analyst, you will be a part of the Care-by-Volvo marketing team and setting up a structured approach to data alignment and tracking. Your responsibilities are to drive implementation, verification, and improvement of Care by Volvo marketing tracking, improve and handle all aspects of Google analytics 360 for Care by Volvo and Urchin Tracking Module tracking for Care by Volvo.
You will have the opportunity to lead the implementation, verification, and improvement of our marketing tags. The role includes improving and handling everything regarding Google Analytics 360 on behalf of Care by Volvo as well as handle internal naming conventions and guidelines for UTM parameters. You will clean up, map and structure data so that it can be stored properly and make sure that we store our data in the best way possible. You will be work towards connecting all the systems so that we can visualize data in Tableau or similar, build views and automatic reports.
In this role, you will critically evaluate detailed information on our digital experiences in conjunction with other customer data to abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding of customer needs and journeys.
Lastly, you will also perform quantitative analysis to provide actionable recommendations to product development teams on conversion rate optimization.
You and your skills
We see that you have deep experience with Google Analytics and past usage of data visualization tools like Tableau. We also believe you have a deep understanding and knowledge of digital marketing and Google Tag Manager. Ideally with documented experience of project management, data structuring, and web analytics. Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., SQL, R) is also necessary.
It’s also beneficial If you have had experience in e-commerce and/or automotive industry and agile development teams.
To be successful in this role, you are detail-oriented and have a passion for solving complex problems, are curious and driven to learn and grow outside of normal duties, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. You are familiar and skilled in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 360, Tableau, Funnel or similar.
You are self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. You have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of engineers, product managers, subject matter experts, and other cross-functional team members within a large matrixed organization.
