MetaSolutions is a leading Open Data company in Sweden with the majority of public organizations relying on our solutions. We're on a mission to make Sweden a top open data provider in the world and set a good standard for other countries to follow. Our products range from data cataloging and modelling, to presentation and visualization, covering the needs of organizations when it comes to open data publishing. Recently, Internetstiftelsen (the Internet Foundation) joined forces with MetaSolutions as a majority stakeholder, and we became part of the bigger internet and data family.

You will play a key role in realising new features and help building functionality that directly empowers our customers to make their data accessible in web pages, data portals and Google’s knowledge panels.

You will work in a small dedicated team, alongside the founders of the company. As part of our team you will have many opportunities to grow, such as become our expert JavaScript developer, take on complex data workflow challenges or even lead the way in front-end development of Semantic Web and Linked Data.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement modular JavaScript applications

• Contribute to our Open Source libraries

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential skills you have:

• 2+ years of development experience in client-side JavaScript

• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as React, VueJs, Angular

• Knowledge of common data formats such as JSON, CSV and XML

• REST APIs, good knowledge of HTTP

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

Bonus skills that make you irresistible:

• Knowledge of Semantic Web / Linked Data technology stack

• Experience with code bundlers like Webpack or Rollup

• A good eye for design

• Ability to communicate in European languages, for example Swedish/German/Spanish/French/Italian
