Join Us. Volvo Cars’ legal team is looking for an engaged and forward-thinking lawyer with a banking & financial services background to support the growing business of the group. Volvo Cars’ global legal team consists of 35 lawyers who provide legal advice and support to the business units and other staff functions of Volvo Car Group within essentially all areas of business law. This position is based at our headquarters in Gothenburg.

In this role you will provide legal support to Volvo Car Group generally, but with a particular focus on banking & financial services and capital market questions.

Your History. You are a qualified lawyer with grades in the upper tier. In your professional life, before applying for a job at Volvo Cars, you have worked at least seven years as a lawyer at a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel, handling various commercial matters and with experience within banking & financial services. You will of course be a team player with a proactive and customer-oriented mind-set and with an ability to provide high-quality legal support with limited supervision and often under time pressure. Defining and solving complicated problems that require careful analysis and good judgement is something you excel at and thrive on. You are able to translate legal advice into actions that deliver business value and drive change.
