The position we are looking to recruit is within the Care by Volvo Digital team. We are strengthening the team with a Quality Engineer focusing on Test Automation.

You and your skills

You are a doer and you will work in a product area where collaboration is key. Care by Volvo touches basically all areas within Consumer & Enterprise Digital. It involves a wide range of different technologies, from big COTS products to inhouse developed micro services. Your focus will be on supporting and helping the different product teams with test automation. In this role, you must love to collaborate with different teams, and have an excellent approach to continuous improvements and an always-on mindset.  

You are an experienced quality engineer with at least 5-6 years of experience of test automation, preferably you are also familiar with monitoring. You are very well familiar with CI / CD, DevOps & agile ways of working. You have proven experience from agile software development contexts, including test driven development and test automation. Technical programming skills such as XML, SQL, Phyton, Java, HTML is meritorious, as well as experience in Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cucumber.

You are a curious team player who loves to collaborate with others. You understand that quality is all about the team and you have a coaching mindset. You need to be able to see the big picture but also jump in and help out in the different teams when needed.
