As Research Team Manager you are responsibility to lead our research team Power System and digitalization at the Power Grids Research Center Sweden. Your team is focused on interdisciplinary research in the area of Power systems, protection and digital technologies.

• Leading a multidisciplinary research team
• Coaching team members to supporting their professional development.
• Coaching project leaders for scientific excellence and professional execution of R&D projects.
• Fostering the creation of new R&D project proposals and strategic research initiatives.
• Contributing to research projects and pre-studies.
• Developing in collaboration across organization, a portfolio of relevant research projects in your team.
• Planning people and resources for R&D project executions.
• Ensuring financial and substantive supervision over the project.
• Maintaining and extending an excellent network to relevant business lines and leading universities.
• Contributing to an innovating and motivating working environment within our research center and globally within Power Grids Research.
• Managing internal and external resources for R&D Activities, assign task to team members, and supervising workload and work allocation.

• You hold PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills.
• Several years of experience and proven track record in industrial R&D.
• Knowledge of Power Grids technologies and products, and interest in new fields of research and technology.
• Team-oriented and innovative personality as well as solution-oriented working style.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
