Senior Engineering Manager – Revenue Engineering i Stockholm
As Spotify continues its goal of becoming the world’s number one audio platform, the number and diversity of revenue streams are bound to increase as well, both in terms of scale and complexity. Revenue Engineering is a product area consisting of 4 squads tasked with delivering innovative solutions to enable quicker go to market at the same time ensuring that financial transactions are accurately and automatically processed. We are looking for a senior engineering manager to lead a team of highly skilled engineering managers and staff engineer and help them with the evolution of our product area from individually contributing teams to becoming a more coherent engineering organization that will contribute to the same technical platform.
What you will do
You will, mainly through the Engineering Managers drive continuous improvements, advocate for and implement sustainable best-practices and provide focused mentoring, especially in the context of several teams contributing to a common technical platform.
You will identify and grow leaders within the teams, setting them up for success through mentorship and coaching
Build and champion a long-term tech roadmap to reduce operational burden, ensure scalability, reduce risk and ensure accuracy of our numbers
Work closely with the product leadership to ensure that the technical vision is in line with the product vision
You will provide context, support and guidance as the team works toward our business objectives — you will inspire, not merely direct
You will be based in Stockholm, but travel occasionally
Work with other R&D leads to constantly improve our development process, especially in terms of risk & compliance
Initiate, influence and drive technical projects across teams within Spotify.
Evolve the management processes supporting comp review, competency development, development talks, etc. as well as evaluate and implement the right tools for these processes.

In the past, you have solved problems that affect the larger engineering organization and you can define and communicate successful patterns of solving such problems.
You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.
As a great influencer with great communication skills, you love sharing your knowledge with others and helping them grow.
You can successfully communicate technical design and decisions to non-technical senior management
