Our team sits at the heart of the embedded control-system development at Scania. We provide the middleware that is the interface between hundreds of software components, connecting them with each other. This middleware is used by various powertrain control systems, such as the engine, gear box, and future electrified powertrains. Our group is a key player when it comes to designing systems that allow seamless sharing of software components without sacrificing our flexibility.
Your task
The architecture team is responsible for the development of the middleware. The toolchain uses python scripts to generate code from the source (XML) files where the software architecture is defined.
At the same time, we lead the software architects of the function development groups and together we define the architecture of the engine management.
Your profile
With your background in software architecture or embedded systems, you love complex problems. It is you who can find patterns where others just get a headache.
We think you..
