Business Systems within Commercial Operations are responsible for system applications used within commercial sales and order.

In the quotation area we are now looking for an Implementation and Business Support Manager.

Scania have, in each market, appointed system super users in Presales, Sales and Order Logistics, that are preparing and enabling the product portfolio for our salesforce. These persons are also entrusted to locally train their salesforce in methods as well as tools.

As an Implementation and Business Support Manager you support these key people in their day-to-day work, either from your desk or on market location. We are responsible to help them in the complete implementation phase. And after each implementation project, we work in the next phase with business support, where we help them to solve any issues that come up in the quotation and order process.

Your Tasks
Your main tasks will be to support our markets who are using Sales Portal, Scania’s quotation tool. The job consists of about 30-40% Business support helping out with queries and issues surrounding usage of our system via our common mailboxes.

You will also manage implementations of new functionalities as well as supporting our regional offices to increase usage within their respective region. This could be by providing routine descriptions, analyses of market usage but also to train the trainer activities in the market.

The workload varies but the pace is always quite high and occasional travel will be necessary.

As we are coming from an intense implementation journey we are now also set on working through our internal ways of working, this to ensure our efficiency and service level over time.

Your Profile
We believe that you have a degree in either Science, Business Administration or IT from a university or corresponding work experience. Background from the automotive and IT industry is a merit along with project and/or line management competence.

To succeed in the role, you need good leadership and social skills together with a strong customer focus. You are motivated, able to take own initiatives as well as being a team player. You must also be willing to take on any required administrative work that is part of the job. Communication- and presentation skills are also important. You are structured, able to work at a high pace when necessary and willing to travel. Fluency in English, both verbal and written is required.

As we are moving toward a more structured way of working, knowledge within project management is a merit, and the structure that comes with is necessary.

Since we are working in a global environment where the demands on our support often exceeds our day to day capacity, the ability to analyse and understand the most important thing to do right now is a given. We need to start with the most important things and communicate to some stakeholders that they will have to wait, or sometimes even say no. This part of the job takes people skills and some courage, but with the reward that we actually deliver on what we do promise.
