Media Lead - H&M Global Media Team
 

Are you an expert in Media strategies that grow brands? Do you find yourself excited for the chance to lead and develop the global Media strategy within one of the largest fashion brands in the world? If so, we might be off to a great start. We are looking for a Media Lead to join our Global Media team at our Marketing & Communications function.

 

H&M’s Marketing & Communication department is located in Stockholm and supports 74 countries around the world. We have the strategic and operational responsibility to build the H&M brand, both internally and externally and are set up in cross functional Account teams that support H&M’s Business Units. The global Media team is part of the Marketing & Communication function and focuses on building brand awareness, secure reach for H&M’s campaigns and drive traffic to increase sales with the help of different media channels.

What you will do:

As a Media Lead you will be part of the H&M global media team and will work closely with team members in a cross-functional Account set up towards a specific Business Unit. You will also work closely with H&M key markets around the world. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 
  • Be responsible for leading and developing the long-term global media strategy for one of the Accounts / Business Unit within the H&M brand.
  • Lead global media budget setting process for Account and global media support plan 
  • Lead implementation of defined media strategy across markets and regions
  • Set and track media specific KPIs for the Account 
  • Collaborate with Channel Owners to develop channel strategies for customer group
  • Empower teams in Account with a clear direction, priorities and goals
  • Proactively bring new ideas and explore growth opportunities
 
 

Who you are:

We believe that you are a strategic, analytical and business minded person with deep, holistic media expertise, focused on growing brands. As a person you are a true team player able to collaborate with different people and communicate in an engaging way. We also believe that you:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience from strategic roles at a media agency or on the client side
  • Have a proven track record of developing media strategies that drive results and grows brands
  • Have strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset, able to turn insights into strategies and actions. 
  • Ability to communicate direction and strategy, prioritize and take decisions to reach goals
  • Knowledge of the complete media landscape, including social, tech and market trends
  • Strategic understanding of all disciplines of marketing & communications
